About Me

Hi! Welcome to Contrast Interiors! 

I am Praj Hagargi, I am the Principal Designer and Owner of Contrast Interior Designs. 

My love for interior design began at a young age(without me even realizing it). I mostly inherit these artistic skills from my mother, who was an art teacher.

I come from IT background, I did my Bachelors in engineering in India. And worked in IT for 12 years, my immense passion for interiors led me to pursue the design institute, and be part of the creative world. 

As an Interior designer, the most gratifying part of my job is helping people to make the right decisions by guiding my clients through the design process, And I do this by listening to their needs and likes and achieve a space that embodies, warmth and sophistication. Often I have seen people struggling when attempting to build, remodel, or decorate their home or commercial space without a professional guidance. I bring in my expertise and help clients to avoid costly design mistakes. 

I choose finishes that are bespoke, cohesive, classic, fun and yet innovative - all while invoking a sense of well-being for the clients who inhabit the space. 

I believe that high-quality space design should be accessible, affordable and functional. 

When I am not working, I spend my time with my  husband and my two daughters. We love to take trips around the world and explore. But we always crave for our abode, our sanctuary -HOME.
